Informations about Castelli24h

Here we are, ready to celebrate with you the Castelli24h’s coming of age.

It’s an unusual year for us in that we have had to rethink some logistical and organizational aspects of the event to respond to NEW SAFETY REGULATIONS.

Below we provide the detailed SCHEDULE for this 18th edition of the Castelli24h. We ask you to respect the instructions to ensure that everything proceeds smoothly, inviting you in particular to RESPECT OUR STAFF Friday afternoon. They – in a race against the clock – will be setting up the race route, which is impossible to do earlier because there is a market in the morning and because in any case you will be racing on streets that are normally used by the residents of Feltre and that cannot be closed earlier.

THURSDAY, JUNE 7

From 6 to 9 p.m., the teams located in Campo Mosto and Campo Giorgio (BLUE areas on the map) may set up their booths.

From 6 to 9 p.m., the teams located in Pra del Moro / Pra del Vescovo (GREEN areas on the map) may set up their booths.

FRIDAY, JUNE 8

In the morning, the teams in Campo Giorgio will NOT be able to access the area due to the market.

In the other areas, the spaces will be given out from 1 to 3 p.m.

AREA FOR ROLLERS

The designated warm-up area is Piazza Isola (YELLOW area on the map) and is for teams that reserved spaces before the deadline.

The spaces will be given out based on the list, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.

(Ernesto DE MARTINI is responsible for giving out the spaces; cell +39 389 5972003 for emergencies)

Remember that the roller area is a warm-up area only and not a team support area or camping area. So to avoid unwelcome fines from the local police (public decorum), we invite the teams to use the gazebos exclusively for warming up on the rollers.

The Feltre ICE RINK (the location of the race packet pickup and pre-race briefing) will be open during the entire event, from 8 p.m. on Friday until midnight on Saturday, with SHOWERS, CHANGING ROOMSand TOILETS.

In case of EMERGENCY, the race organizers’ number to call during the event is

+39 389 5972003

If there are any URGENT COMMUNICATIONS from the RACE DIRECTORand organizers, an SMS will be sent to the team representative identified during registration, or to the number provided by the Only One during registration.

LICENSE CHECK IN THE EXCHANGE AREA

To avoid unpleasant surprises, this year there will be more checks of the athletes in the race. One of these checks is the jury and race directors, who can at their discretion inspect the licenses of everyone at the entrance to the exchange area, so … put your license in your pocket, or they will not let you into the exchange area.

Another measure will be a special bracelet that you will find together with your race number and that must be worn by the athletes in the race.

The others are a surprise!

SPEED BUMPS in VIALE MARCONI

Viale Marconi features three speed bumps placed by the municipal administration to slow traffic. Like last year, special nonslip rubber mats will be laid out to soften the incline.

We nevertheless ask you to be very careful.

TRASH DISPOSAL

The Municipality of Feltre has ordered that every team dispose of its own garbage. No trash may be left in the team areas. Any fines levied by the city will be charged to the teams in the relevant area. (Fines start at 100 euros.)
